Marketplaces

There are several marketplaces where you can sell/buy shoes paying some fees for authentication, ship and other minor services.

Marketplaces work as "middleman": a buyer buys the item through the marketplace while a seller sells the item through the marketplace, finally the marketplace itself makes sure both the parts are satisfied on the one hand by authenticating the item and delivering it to the buyer and on the other hand by releasing the payout for the seller.

STOCKX

StockX is surely the most known marketplace for Sneakers, probably also the most used one.

In order to sell on StockX you have to register an account and save your shipping and billing info, a debit/credit card is needed (regardless if your aim is to sell only). Moreover you have to set your payout info from the account settings via Hyperwallet, which is a third parts platform which takes care of payments/payouts in complete safety.

Once done the above stuff you are good to go. On StockX you can either "sell now" for the highest offer from the buyer or "place an ask" as seller and wait for a buyer to accept it.

You will receive the instructions via email on "how to proceed" once you have sold anything. Basically it's very easy since they send you everything (shipping label included), so just print the couple of papers you receive by email and follow the instructions.

The item will be shipped to StockX warehouse and authenticated, after that your money will be sent to the preferred "payout method" you had previously set.

RESTOCKS

Restocks is surely one of the best marketplaces in terms of payouts, however times are very long for the authentication process as well as for the payout to be issued.

To sell on Restocks you need to register an account and save your info from the account settings, make sure to enter the preferred payout method as well.

Once registered you will be allowed to list your items and if anything gets sold you will receive a notification via email with all the instructions on "how to proceed" (it's the same as StockX, just print the shipping label and follow the instructions).

A peculiar feature of Restocks is the "consign" service: you can send an item immediately to their warehouse where it will be authenticated and automatically listed, in the meantime you will be able to set/change your price until it gets sold. It's a useful feature since overall you can save some time and earn some more money (fees for items in consign are lower).

KLEKT

Klekt is another major marketplace, one of the most known and used ones.

Create an account and add all the required & needed info, also make sure to set the payout settings (payouts are handled by Hyperwallet).

On Klekt you can list your items for X price but also accept offers from buyers on a FCFS basis, in fact you usually receive a notification from the APP and via email asking if you would like to sell for that price (accept that offer) and in case you agree you have to be fast with the confirmation.

A cool feature Klekt can boast about is the fact that it allows you to sell not only DS shoes but also Used shoes. You will just have to select "Used" (instead of "New") while listing, after that just follow the instructions (post pics etc. etc.).

Once you have sold an item, as usual you will receive an email of confirmation with all the instructions, which are basically the same for every marketplace (print a couple of papers, attach the shipping label to the package and so on).

Ebay

Basically all the marketplaces are kinda similar, some have more features some have less, anyway they all require a verified account with the required info and they all provide clean step by step instructions so that customers can't make any mistake. So feel free to experiment and sell whenever you prefer, according to your needs & preferences.
